Since Max was born, he's been waking up 4/5/6 times a night for a feeding. It doesn't drain me too much because I just bring him to bed, nurse for a couple minutes, and then he goes right back to sleep. With that said though...it is getting time for him to sleep through the night. It would be nice to get a full nights rest without any interruption.
Since Wednesday, Kyra and I have been really sick. I'm thinking the flu. Justin even had to stay home on Thursday to take care of things while I laid in bed the whole morning half dead. During the day, I was starting to get a little better, but come night time...it struck again. I think Ethan is sick too...and since Max is still sleeping (8:45am) I have a feeling he is sick too. :( We missed Kyra's Christmas preschool party on Thursday, and if we don't get feeling better TODAY we will miss our ward Christmas party tomorrow!! And Justin and I both have singing parts in our wards Christmas program on Sunday, but with how things are going...we might not make that either. Sheesh...rotten timing. At least it's not Christmas week though, right!?
Last night, I think my fever was super high because I was FREEZING cold and couldn't stop shivering. If Max woke up, there would have been no way physically possible that I'd have been able to pick him up. Guess what!?! Max slept through the night for the first time!!!! EVER!!! I had a distinct impression this morning that Heavenly Father is mindful of the state that I am in, and helped Max sleep so that I didn't have to take care of him, and myself. I am overwhelmed with absolute gratitude towards Heavenly Father!! This was nothing short of a miracle. I have a feeling that our perfect Heavenly Father is so anxious to bless us beyond our wildest dreams...if we just strive to obey His commandments.
