A few weeks ago when I was writing my feelings and thoughts about something I feel strongly about, I was listening to Believe by Josh Groban and the main lyrics spoke right to my heart:

Believe in what your heart is saying
Hear the melody that's playing

There's so much to celebrate
Believe in what you feel inside
And give your dreams the wings to fly
You have everything you need
If you just believe

 

I tingled from head to toe, and was consumed with this powerful feeling of love. I knew that it was God speaking directly to me through this music. It was as if He was saying "Yes! You are doing the right thing and are on the right path."

 

I just closed my eyes, let the power of the music and lyrics sink deep into my soul, and wept. I am so thankful for that powerful confirmation. I love that one of the ways that God speaks to us is through music. So... it's important to listen to good, uplifting music. :)

 

 

Listening to Josh Groban sing does wonders for my soul, no matter WHAT song he's singing. *Love him*.
