On Tuesday I noticed that Ethan had some sort of bug bite. Didn't think too much of it at the time, but on Wednesday...it was progressively getting worse. We were pretty concerned. The picture on the left, the infected site kept growing like crazy. Just slightly touching it caused Ethan crazy pain. I knocked him out with some sleepy medication at night so that I could work on the bulging puss without him screaming. I barely punctured the tip with a pin and wow! I should have taken a picture of all the puss that came out. It was SO COOL!! and about every five minutes I'd go back, and more kept coming out. I realized at that moment....I should have been a cyst doctor or something. :-D (I love watching zit picking videos on youtube...hehe). The picture on the right is tonight....it's still way infected, but a bit better today. Going to keep putting essential oils on it and hopefully it'll be fully better in no time.

Ok...update (about an hour later). We decided to take Ethan into the doctors to get checked out. The redness infected area began to grow and get bigger. I wanted to pretend that it wasn't really that big of a deal but in reality, I think it is. My heart just aches for Ethan because I know that he'll be in so much pain with whatever the doctors do, but I know that a little pain now will be so much better then if we waited. Praying so hard for fast healing (and feeling so thankful for priesthood blessings!!!).

I gave Max a haircut today. I don't know WHAT in the world I was thinking!! I instantly regretted it and my heart just aches for his curls.... I feel like I shaved a huge part of his personality off. :*( But as we all know, hair does grow back...eventually. sniff sniff. Until then, I'll continue to love him just as much as before. Curls or no curls.
