Ethan is obsessed with this book.
It is special to me because it was my book
that I had when I was a kid.

I've been eating 2 tablespoons (or..a spoonful) of coconut oil
every morning the past week. I could be wrong...but I'm pretty sure that
it has helped me to use the bathroom more often so hey, that's a plus!
Coconut oil is amazing and probably should be included in every emergency kit.

We went to the San Antonio Rodeo Saturday night with
our new great friends (Kenzie and Mike Daley). We went to a Mexican
Restaurant that non of us had been to before. Great food!
The rodeo was really good. Bull riding at the end of the show, before the concert,
is always my favorite. Amazing how much money those guys make doing that job.
(side note...I love the cowboy energy! Kind of attractive). ;)
Chris Young's concert was right after the rodeo. It was alright. He has a strong
country accent and it was hard to understand what he was singing sometimes.
He's definitely no Tim McGraw but we won't hate on him for that. :)

Ethan is GREAT at taking naps. Sometimes he'll just jump into my bed and
fall asleep without me even saying a word.
Max isn't so great at taking a nap now that we moved from Ohio.
sniff sniff but he'll still take a nap every now and then.

Kyra goes to kindergarten all day here in Texas and that's been a bit of an
adjustment, since she was only going to three hours in Ohio, but overall it's
been a great experience for her. It is SO FUN to watch her learn to read and to just
learn in general. She really likes her teacher and her classmates. I'm glad she even has
a couple kids from church in her class with her. Good on my money heart.

Ethan will be five at the end of May and should be going to kindergarten next
school year but I think I might just wait to start him in January instead, when he's a little older.
Maybe I'll feel differently but it still makes me a little sad to send a 5 year old away to school
for so long. Not ready to make that step yet.

Yes...I still plan and hope to home school...eventually.

Last night Justin and I went to dinner at Pappadeaux Seafood and WOW...incredibly delicious!
That place is *always* packed..and for good reason.
I ordered an Alaskan King Crab. I haven't had crab in YEARS. I'd have crab once a week, if
it were up to me. When we become super wealthy, not only will I get a massage once a week,
but I'll also have crab once a week. #onmybucketlist

We joined Life Time Fitness in December the first week that we got here...and
just last week we canceled our membership. :/ It's SUPER nice and deluxe, no doubt, but
a little too intimidating. It is always packed full of people, no matter what time of the day we go.
The childcare is awesome and it has a lot of great stuff to offer but a bit too pricey and we don't
use it enough to make it worth the money. I miss the YMCA in Ohio. It was the perfect size
for us and the perfect price.

I'm not too heartbroken though because I discovered Beach Body On Demand, which is less than $3
a WEEK and I can exercise at home anytime I want to and to a variety of exercise videos. I love the options! Wish I would have discovered this YEARS ago! You can even try it out for 30 days FOR FREE. I'm not a beach body coach but if I were..this would be my main selling point.

The fire alarm in the kids bedroom has been beeping the past week...
still waiting for maintenance to come and fix it.

I subbed for sunbeams on Sunday. I admire sunbeam teachers ALL over the world.
That's all I am going to say on that..

:)
